Les Miserables is a novel of Victor Hugo, who is famous French writer. The novel was remade as a musical. And then, in 2012, the musical was made as a movie by Tom Hooper and Universal Pictures. Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Russel Crowe, Amanda Seyfried acted in the movie as Jean Valjean, Fantine, Javert, and Cosette. The movie made lots of issues and got good comments. The actors listen to the music by earphones while they are singing the songs. And the editors add orchestra accompaniment when they edit. So they needed more staffs to do this.
Second, the music of the movie was very awesome. The original musical music was very good. In this movie, almost every song of the musical have been sung. Also, the actors sang songs very well. Hugh Jackman is a winner of Tony award, Amanda Seyfreid acted in 'Mamma mia!' very well. And Hathaway has special episode that her mother played as Fantine. Also, Samantha Barks, who played as Eponine in this movie, is the actor who played as Eponine in the musical. Because of this, the music was none poorer than the other musical movies at all.
Tom Hooper's Les Miserables succeed very much all around the world. I think the movie succeeded because of these reasons. Maybe, there will be another reasons.
