The main character of this story is Jean Valjean He stole a piece of bread for his nephews. So, he spend 19years in the Toulon prison. After he came out from the prison, Javert chased him for 20years. One day, he slept in the Bishop Myriel’s home. And, he stole silver dishes, but Bishop Myriel forgave him. He changed his name to Madeleine and lived another life. He raised Cosette because of Fantine’s ask. Jean Valjean died after Cosette married with Madeleine. Now, I would like to describe two reasons for success of this movie.
The first reason that I thought is live singing, which means all the actors and actresses sang lively while they were acting in the movie. We can see this way in operas. This point made this movie more special and creative. Also, it made us feel more interested and fun.
The second reason is actors and actresses, which means that they were well known Hollywood stars. For example Hugh Jackman as the roll of Jean Valjean was a well known star with the film of X-men. And Russell Crowe as the roll of Javert was also famous star in the movie of Gladiator. Also, Anne Hathaway and Amanda Seyfried were well known actresses.
